Recently, I rented the old Exodus movie on Netflix and was shocked by a scene leading up to the Arab attack on the kibbutz where a Nazi official orders the Arabs to attack the Jewish settlers under the orders of the Grand Mufti Amin al-Husseini. It was like watching the evil Nazi scenes in the Raiders of the Lost Ark. Was there possibly a link between Palestinian Arab hatred of the Jews and fascism? A quick Google opened my eyes.

Amin al-Husseini was a high ranking Muslim cleric empowered to issue fatwas, judicial orders, under Sharia law. While the British appointed him as the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem to keep the peace, he became hostile to plans for allowing Jews to return to the region. After he lead an uprising against the British occupiers, he escaped ending up in Italy and Germany meeting both Mussolini and Hitler. During the war he did extensive propaganda broadcasts in an attempt to unite the Arab countries against the British and Allies. He was sympathetic to European fascist's treatment of the Jews and vowed to do the same in the Middle East.

"When Husseini eventually met with Hitler and Ribbentrop in 1941, he assured Hitler that "The Arabs were Germany's natural friends because they had the same enemies... namely the English, the Jews, and the Communists". Hitler was pleased with him, considering him "the principal actor in the Middle East" and an Aryan because of al-Hussaini's fair skin, blond hair and blue eyes." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amin_al-Husseini

On return to the Palestine territories after the war he established a harsh brand of Islam in Jerusalem and backed terrorist organizations to attack Jews in the region. The British and King Hussein of Jordan drove him to exile in Egypt where he collaborated with the leaders of the new radical Muslim Brotherhood which provided the groundwork for Islamofacists of today - Al Qaida, ISIS, IS, Taliban, Hamas, etc.

Coming from their Nazi roots and witnessing other gruesome atrocities by other Islamist groups, I do not doubt decapitating babies and other heinous acts against Jewish civilians occurred. Hamas did not just pop up on the scene, it was preceded by years of sanctioned Islamofascist rhetoric and hatred of Jews echoing from the WWII Holocaust times. This is what we are witnessing today and helps explain the illogical hatred of the Jew and refusal to collaborate with them on a solution. The only one acceptable to Hamas is the "Final" one.

While I had my doubts when I wrote this piece, I now have seen evidence enough to know that the barbarities perpetuated by the Hamas terrorists were inventive and way over the top.

To the extent of my knowledge, your historical facts are correct.

I think that Muslims were attracted to the Nazis for two reasons: Muslims have always been looking for an anointed leader (Fuhrer) Sent by God to unite them in a pan Muslim theocratic state. Of course, they haven't been able to agree for over 1000 years who that person should be. But they clearly resonated to what the Nazis called the Fuhrerprinzep.

From 1917 onward, Muslims had also been fighting against French and British colonialism in the Levant, and the Germans were the enemy of their enemies.

I don't know when antisemitism became a strong motivation for some Muslims. Muslims lived to peacefully alongside Jews for centuries in Spain and Morocco. I had always read that in the first few Muslims centuries, that Muslim rulers were happy to rule over Christians and Jews because they were allowed to charge them higher taxes than Muslims. The Crusades may have been a turning point in this regard.

It seems the turning point coincides with WWII and the Grand Mufti hanging out with the European fascists. Again, it was the Muslim Brotherhood that shifted Islam far right into extremism and racial/ethnic hatred. Even moderate Egypt has become caught up in it and is catching some of the poison from Putin's "Russiky Mir" brand of Slavic fascism. https://religiondispatches.org/russkii-mir-the-russian-equivalent-of-blood-soil-ideology-lies-at-the-heart-of-putins-war-orthodox-theologians-explain-and-oppose-it/

There may be some hope though as much of the Middle East becomes prosperous. Here is a a recent report: https://malcolmnance.substack.com/p/black-man-spy-flash-traffic-malcolm?utm_medium=email&utm_source=multiple-personal-recommendations-email

Something is weird here, Kathleen. I couldn't delete my misplaced comment. And then I posted it under Cromwell8 and it showed up under your response to him. But you understand now that my question was for Cromwell8.

Actually it was my mistake. Your comment was placed under his, but I guess I got a note that said someone had made a comment, so I mistakenly assumed it was directed to me. We are good as far as I'm concerned!

Good. By the way, I sent your piece to two friends, both Jewish, one a lefty and one a righty, who both cite videos from time to time.

I hesitate to write this, but if you were to do your research you would find that the hair of murdered Jewish people was indeed used for ‘commercial purposes’ including the manufacture of insulated clothing and footwear for both the Luftwaffe and the U-boat arm of the Kriegsmarine.

Wikipedia states that this did not happen. Would you care to read the Wikipedia articles that I referenced? I believe that you are expressing a distinct minority opinion.

More victims were killed at Auschwitz than any other camp. Their bodies were cremated.

Not to mention the poor victims were starved for so long (my father helped liberate the camps and what he saw was so horrible he had a nervous breakdown, when they were done.) Their hair would have fallen out from malnutrition, or been haylike from lack of nutrients. My father described the poor walking skeletons that he saw there and when he could finally speak of it 40 years later, said we must never let it happen again.

The hair of the victims was cut off either before or after they were murdered and cremated. Then it was weighed and packaged. There is any amount of evidence and testimony this effect so dyor if you’re so inclined.

Try Googling ‘Schaeffler’ ‘Human hair’.

This is actually too disgusting so I’m going to unsubscribe and block.
